INSTITUTE FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE & ACCREDITATION (EQUAL)

        Undiknas Graduate School always prioritizes quality, where the quality assurance process is carried out by a unit called the Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL). Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) is an internal academic quality assurance institution established within Undiknas Denpasar. This institution works professionally to assist Denpasar National University of Education in achieving its vision as a "Center of Excellence for Private University Quality Assurance in Eastern Indonesia that is taken into account in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)".

        InstituteThe Institute of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) has direct responsibility to the Rector of Undiknas. The Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) is tasked with assisting the rector in planning, implementing and evaluating the quality assurance of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the quality of education, teaching and research as well as the implementation of internal accreditation.
        The academic quality assurance process at Undiknas Denpasar is carried out in stages from the university level to the Faculties and Study Programs. The Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) is tasked with monitoring the planning and control of the academic process in the Study Program and establishing a quality assurance system in each study program so that its implementation is well organized and neatly documented. This quality assurance process is carried out through monev (monitoring and evaluation) activities of the teaching and learning process on an ongoing basis. One of the activities carried out by the Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) is to check student attendance and lecture minutes. In addition, it also conducts an analysis of the results of lecturer evaluations by students (EDOM) carried out for each course. The results of the analysis are then used to make improvements to always improve the quality of the teaching and learning process. The Institute for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (EQUAL), which is proven to work professionally in order to ensure quality in the Undiknas Denpasar environment, in 2012 has won the title as a national pilot Quality Assurance Agency (Higher Education Decree No. 25 / HK / 2012).


VISION, MISSION AND WORK OBJECTIVES

VISION
This body aspires to become a professional internal academic quality assurance institution to assist the National University of Education Denpasar in achieving its vision as a "Center of Excellence for Private University Quality Assurance in Eastern Indonesia that is taken into account in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)".

MISSION
To achieve these goals, Quality Asurance and Accreditation (EQUAL) is responsible for carrying out the following missions:
  • Encouraging human resources within the National Education University of Denpasar to always have awareness and responsibility for the culture of academic quality,
  • Improve EQUAL competence continuously in handling academic quality assurance in a professional, friendly and authoritative manner,
  • Encourage the creation, development and continuous maintenance of an academic quality assurance system within the National Education University of Denpasar.
  • Adjusting academic and non-academic standards to the standards imposed on universities in ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK QUALITY ASSURANCE (AUN-QA)

PURPOSE
All EQUAL activities aim to:
  • Ensuring the quality of education implementation to produce graduates who are professional, responsible, able to compete at the National and ASEAN levels.
  • Ensuring the quality of research and community services that are weighty and beneficial to society at the national and ASEAN levels
  • Improve the improvement of academic and non-academic quality management systems in a sustainable manner within the Denpasar National Education University in accordance with the demands of the ASEAN Community.

CONCEPT
  • The definition of quality in general is conformity with standards,
  • conformity with stakeholder expectations or fulfillment of promises that have been given, The quality of education at UNDIKNAS is understood as the achievement of educational goals and graduate competencies that have been determined according to strategic plans and academic standards. The achievement of this goal involves aspects of input, process, and output as well as the value and degree of excellence, virtue, and perfection (degree of excellence).
  • The quality of education at UNDIKNAS
  • is proactive in the sense that UNDIKNAS graduates are able to continuously adapt to the development of science and technology as well as socio-cultural realities that continue to develop dynamically. The quality of education at UNDIKNAS also includes aspects of administrative services, facilities/infrastructure, organization, and management that can meet the expectations of the academic community and the community (both parents of students, graduate users, and the wider community).
  • The academic quality assurance system at UNDIKNAS is designed and implemented to be able to guarantee the quality of academic degrees awarded.
  • This means that the quality assurance system must be able to guarantee that graduates will have the competencies set out in the Study Program Specification. Thus, the university also guarantees that students will get a learning experience as promised in the study program specifications.

EQUAL ACHIEVEMENT

Has succeeded in building a system and implementing successfully, a management system and is able to facilitate in each study program by disseminating form contents and quality targets of study programs in each faculty..
